My child works for me. Do I need to withhold taxes since they are a minor?

A child that works for a parent and is under the age of 18 is exempt from FICA taxes. If the child is under 21 and does not work for the parents business, they are also exempt. However, it they work at a corporation, partnership (unless each of the parents is a partner) the exemption does not apply.
