If you are using the TaxSlayer Books W-2/1099 program and are unable to create W-2's, you will need to ensure that you have properly setup your basic company information.

You can do so by logging into your account and selecting Create/Edit Companies, and then choosing "Edit" beside the corresponding company. You will then scroll to the bottom of this page and change your selection under "Choose Company Type". Typically, "Regular Form 941" is the general choice for most businesses but you will need to verify this information yourself.
